ooc: Finally coming back from what turned out to be an incredibly long hiatus, sorry about that everyone. After some thinking and discussing I decided that what makes the most sense (I should have thought about this in advance I know) is that Lirael here has been mallynapped. This is her return home after that experience. She's fine, just a little confused since it's been weeks.

Action:

[ If anyone wants to wander into a slightly confused and disoriented Lirael, this is your chance. Break time and space and go crazy, she can be just about anywhere but eventually she does make her way back to house 44 and gets inside, at which point she immediately heads for the kitchen and starts rummaging around to find something to eat. She's a little too out of it to actually manage anything constructive though so she might need a hand. ]

[ Once the dust has cleared and Lirael has been fed and rested and had a bath and all of that good stuff, she makes one of her rare and usually brief video appearances because ugh showing her face to everyone is just so very awkward. Still, it felt like it might be a good idea since she's been gone for quite a while. ]

Uh, hello. I don't know if... [ If anyone noticed? That sounds a little rude, doesn't it? ] I mean... um... I've been gone for a while. Apparently.

I just wanted to say that I'm back now, and I'm fine. In case someone was... Just... In case.

[ Yes Luceti, the Queen of Awkward has indeed come back to you. Aren't you all so glad? ]

[ Here is when Helios will enter the kitchen followed by two very happy and excitable baby dragons. He catches the last few bits of that conversation. They will proceed to run around the table and then happily pounce on Lirael when she's not expecting it. Helios will laugh and shake his head, his expression one of surprise and utter happiness. ]

Lirael?! Good lord you-you're back! Are you alright? Is anything wrong?

[ Because she had been taken by the Malnosso after all. Helios will huff and shake his head, looking back at Max with a small smile before returning his gaze to his returned housemate. ]

It's...not as if you wanted to be taken. But, ah, sit sit. I'll make you something to eat. Anything special in mind?

What's the apology for? It's not your fault.

[But ah, there's Helios. max looks up when he arrives and smiles back warmly at him before returning to chopping up a large bunch of flower petals for the cakes.]

[ Unprepared dragon baby attack?

Well that equals Lirael ending up on the floor, which hurts her bottom a little but has her laughing anyway because who can resist happy baby dragons? ]

It's good to see you both again.

[ Helios can't help the smile from spreading on his face. It's amusing to watch, but once they've settled down the two dragons will leave Lirael to getting up. ]

They, ah, missed you. The house has been somewhat empty of its old occupants for quite some time. It's nice to have you back home though.

[Max chuckles softly as he watches Lirael and the dragons, glad that they're giving her a nice welcome back too.]

The feeling's mutual, definitely. Welcome back.

[ Said as she gets back on her feet with a smile still on her face. ]

I see you did some renovating.

[ By which she means, I see you turned the house into a castle. ]

O-Oh! Um, y-yes! yes we...I thought it might be a bit more like home with the outside looking like a-a castle. A little personal touch on things as it were.

[ He looks a bit guilty, because he probably should have waited until everyone was back to do it. ] I-I apologize. I was probably a bit too...overeager to have it done. I should have waited until you got back.

[Max snickered softly and reached out to squeeze Helios's hand gently for a moment.]

It looks awesome. I still think that you need a moat though.

It's all right that you didn't wait. It looks really nice.

[ And you two are looking really friendly with each other. A lot really has happened, hasn't it? ]

Besides, what if I'd been sent home? You couldn't know that I was actually coming back anyway so...

[ Really friendly is one way of putting it, yes. Helios laughs and shakes his head his free hand rubbing the back of his neck as he gives Max a wryly grin. ]

A moat wouldn't be too hard to make, you know? It's just finding something to put in it that's the tricky part. [ He looks at Lirael with a small apologetic glance still. ] I-I know. It's just...a bit of shock coming home to, is all. But I'm glad you're alright.

[Max grins back, and yeah, he probably is not subtle in how utterly besotted he is.]

Jelly. I vote for filling the moat with jelly. Lime preferably.

[They're in a magical prison of crazy. A jelly moat is not the strangest thing he could suggest.]

We're all glad you're alright.

[ Nope, not subtle at all. Well, good for them but boy is Lirael feeling just a touch awkward about it all too. Then again she feels a touch awkward about almost everything apart from magic so nobody is likely to notice much of a difference in her behaviour. ]

That sounds like a waste of jelly to me. I'm pretty glad to be all right too.

Jelly. [ He sounds so surprised and then he just laughs. ] I wouldn't put it past the Malnosso to turn it into jelly during a shift of some sort. But...maybe. I'll pass the idea along to Saori, she'll be amused by it.

[ And, hey, emergence food for when the grocery shop runs out like it has done occasionally in the past. ]

[Max grins, glad that they seem to find the idea amusing at least.]

I admit, a food related shift would make an interesting change. And just think, if anyone tries to invade you get to watch them bounce right off it.

[ Wow morbid much Lirael? Helios looks a bit perturbed and then smiles while shaking his head. ]

No, no. I'm sure you could eat your way out. I doubt that would be the intent anyway.

I dunno. Never tried to drown someone in it honestly.

[Max replies completely straight faced and apparently unconcerned with the question.]

I guess it depends on the consistency. Like, the solid stuff? Probably fine. You get some that's more goopy though...

Is the solid stuff so solid that you wouldn't sink into it?

I would imagine so... [ Helios is honestly baffled by you two and your morbid sense of humor. Goodness you guys lighten up! ]

Like a lake of-of jello would be fantastic. Or flavored ice...

[ Hm. That gets a thoughtful look from him. But, yes, back to task. ] Ah! Do you need or want anything Lirael? You must be tired after-after being away so long.

Kind of the consistency of a bouncy castle, I guess? [If you didn't dissolve the jelly cubes first would that work? Huh...]

We should try this. I'll get the jelly, you start digging a pit.
